The Host should not be categorized as a adult book, adults might enjoy it too, but it’s just like the Twilight series. If you liked that series you won’t be disappointed, I loved it just as much. I wish there was a sequel. Wanderer is a soul/parasite. Her people have invaded Earth, but they are really nice. The remaining humans have started to band together for safety. Melanie goes into an invaded city to find her cousin and is captured. Wanderer is inserted into her body, but cannot subdue her. When Melanie starts to take control, things get crazy.
