Emako Blue
Title: Emako Blue
Author: Brenda Woods
I just read “Emako Blue” by Brenda Woods. I couldn’t put it down! Emako Blue was a fifteen year old high school student in Los Angelos, California. She was an INCREDIBLE singer – so talented that she was already being noticed by local record producers. She died at fifteen. I thought this was a sad and touching story about friendship and family. Definately a good read.

I loved this book because it was easy to get into and showed real things that happen every day to unexpecting people.I almost cried when Emako died but I held back the tears. It just seems so unreal that something like that can and does happen to people.

omg i loved Emako Blue this story is very sad but i couldnt stop reading everytime my teacher told us to put our books down. I really wish they would make a movie about it because then i can see a visual way of the story.! Emako inspired me to be my self and that we will make it through life. I understand that life can be difficult at some point of life but you have to learn how to get through it. like i said i wish they would make a movie about this because i wanna see it instead of reading it.
